Meet the SLP

Hi! My name is Holly Parr, founder and speech-language pathologist (SLP) providing in-home and community support for young children and their families. A Minnesotan all the way, I grew up in Maple Grove and went on to receive both my Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed by both the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education. My over 13 years of professional experience spans the whole lifespan, from 1 month to 102 years old.

My family has made our home in Plymouth, where you can find me shuttling the kids around to sports and play dates, going for walks or runs, spending weekends at the cabin, playing volleyball, and enjoying many other outdoor activities.

 

Capacity Speech Therapy was established so that I could provide creative, flexible, and meaningful support to families in my own community. My coaching style focuses on building caregivers' CAPACITY to strengthen their child's communication skills and support the social-emotional needs of families. This boutique practice is a dream come true!
